Am Sonntag, den 10. September findet die Kirchenversammlung nach dem Gottesdienst statt. In dieser Sitzung wird wird satzungsgemäß der Kirchenvorstand gewählt. Alle wahlberechtigten Mitglieder haben im Juni ihre Wahlbenachrichtigung mit der Vorstellung der 11 Kandidat*innen erhalten. Wer am Wahltag nicht persönlich vor Ort sein kann, kann ab jetzt die Briefwahlunterlagen anfordern (formlose E-Mail an: info@lutheran-ireland.org). Die Briefwahlunterlagen müssen spätestens am 10. September 2023 um 12 Uhr im Briefkasten am Lutherhaus eingetroffen sein um berücksichtigt zu werden. Eine hohe Wahlbeteiligung ist nicht nur ein Zeichen der Wertschätzung für die Arbeit des Kirchenvorstandes, sondern stärkt auch die demokratische Struktur unserer Kirche. Kommt also am 10. September zur Wahl oder nehmt per Briefwahl teil!

On Sunday 10 September the Annual General Meeting will take place after the service. In accordance with the constitution, the church council is elected at this meeting. Those who cannot be there in person on election day can now request the postal ballot documents (informally write to info@lutheran-ireland.org). The postal ballot documents must be received in the mailbox at the Luther House by 12 noon on 10 September 2023 at the latest in order to be considered. A high turnout is not only a sign of appreciation for the work of the church council, but also strengthens the democratic structure of our church. So come to the polls on 10 September or take part by postal ballot!
