The Lutheran Church in Ireland is a multilingual community. German and English are essential languages of our everyday life. But many other languages can also be heard and are important to us as a transnational community.

As a church in Ireland, Irish therefore also has a firm place with us. This can be recognised by our trilingual logo. And finally also on our website. In addition to German and English, it is now also available in Irish. We have Dr Aoibheann Nic Dhonnchadha from the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) to thank for this, who has translated our website with great accuracy and knowledge of the language.

We are delighted that our website now reflects that the Lutheran Church in Ireland is deeply rooted in the history and culture of this wonderful island.
